Overview
The PGSHF Housing Scheme Sialkot is situated at 10-KM from District Courts, Aimanabad Road, near City Housing scheme, Sialkot. This scheme consists of 1,504 Kanlas of Land where 1928 plots of different categories are proposed to be developed. Infrastructure Development work was awarded to the contractor through open auction. Inftrastructure Development work was completed upto 43%. Upon delayed performance of the contractor, the contract was rescinded by Project Director on 04.11.2019. The Contractor invoked the arbitration clause and the award of arbitration was in favour of the Contractor which was made rule of court vide order dated 03.06.2021. Feeling aggrieved by the decision of the arbitration and order of the court dated 03.06.2021, PGSHF filed an appeal before the Lahore High Court, Lahore dated 01.07.2021.
The Board of Directors in its 38th meeting held on 03.12.2025, set aside the recission orders of Project Director, Sialkot and directed to resume work as per awarded contract with permissible escalation of balance work. Accordingly, the work has been started by the contractor.
